Growing up, Christie was the perfect child: straight-A student, helpful, and well-mannered. Her family always envisioned a traditional, “successful” future for her—teacher, lawyer, doctor, scientist. But that path changed when her aunt gifted her a camera for her tenth birthday, igniting a passion for photography. Obsessed with capturing the beauty in everyday moments, she carried that camera everywhere. Her parents tolerated her hobby since her grades were excellent and those “real careers” were still within reach. Her smarts eventually earned her a neuroscience scholarship in America, where her passion grew stronger as she delved into New York City’s vibrant art scene. Realizing her heart wasn’t in her major, she left school to pursue photography full-time, transitioning from nature and glamour shots to erotic photography as she became an adult. Today, Christie runs a small studio in downtown New York, capturing the raw beauty of human connection.
